- decorating elements like ribbons, stripes, flowers

- utensils like a scissor, glue, sellotape.

First roll up all the diapers separately and hold them tight with a rubber band. Diaper cakes for girls and boys look better if they have at least three stores, each one bigger than the previous. Start putting one rolled up diaper into the middle, and as many around as many would make a round form. Hold them together with another, bigger rubber band. If this is the smallest, keep it, and do the same thing again, but place another line of diapers around the second one, and three lines for the third one. The last diaper layer, the biggest will be the base of the cake, so place it on the bottom. Put the next, smaller on top of it and the smallest on top of that. If you're creating diaper cakes for girls, use some pink, red or purple ribbons to tie around the cake layers, so the rubber bands won't show. If it's for a little baby boy, use some blue, green or gray colors - those are traditionally more "manly" colors. In order to keep the diaper layers on top of each other, you can either glue them together, or use a central piece in the middle of the cake, like a baby bottle or a slim vase. Decorate your cake with ribbons, flowers or even little edible animals like gummy bears. Hope you have fun making the diaper cake, it's probably the most fun anyone can have with diapers.
